This time we have a picture of Guy Obeirne's MGA.
Plus some further information.
This MGA is a 1956 Mk1 model.
Guy saw the car for sale with a dealer in May 2024. He had always loved the shape of the “A” and this example particularly took his attention due to the Brooklands racing green colour.
Two previous owners ago, a garage owner in Wales, completed a major refurbishment. This included fitting front disc brakes, 1600 rear lights and boring the engine to 1600cc.
Since Guy has had the MG the rear springs have been replaced, a new clutch fitted, second gear synchro replaced and a few electrical issues including fuel gauge sender sorted.
He has said that it is not a fast car, but fun, original and rewarding to drive.
